Option 4 – Architecture in harmony with nature
Buying process
Please contact the estate agent or leave your details using the inquiry form. If desired, we can schedule a site visit during which we will provide full details about the current villa. Following this, you will receive an option, and you can indicate whether you wish to exercise it. Upon a positive decision, the purchase agreement will be drawn up and signed. The transfer can then take place at the notary's office at short notice.

Following this, your chosen architect — and at a later stage, the contractor — will contact you to realise the property completely according to your wishes.
The Construction
The villa will be built by Villa Builder Van der Windt.
Detailed alignment and work preparation from 4 weeks after purchase; construction starts 6 months after purchase.
A construction period of approximately 18 months should be maintained, after which the property is fully turn-key and ready for occupation.
Environmental Plan & Permits
All necessary permits for the new-build option have already been granted.
Yes, the necessary basic investigations have been carried out. Some studies may need to be updated. The municipality can always request additional reports.
Property Design
Remy Meijers Interior Architecture and Barry Broekhuijse Architecture. Established contacts with the OKW Wassenaar are already in place.
The structural framework is fixed due to the granted permits. The interior can be tailored entirely to your wishes under the guidance of Remy Meijers.
No, each design is unique and exclusively created for the plot at Schouwweg 65A Wassenaar.
Yes. In the event of serious interest, we will investigate together with you whether your specific requirements can be realized within the chosen concept. This initial advice is non-binding up to a certain point.
Yes, the interior forms an essential, cohesive whole with the architecture. For the styling (furniture and fabrics), we collaborate with high-end partners.
This trajectory is already fully permitted and starts directly in the execution phase:
Design Phase (Already completed): The sketch, preliminary, final, and technical designs are ready; the required building permits have been granted.
Execution Phase: Detailed coordination and work preparation will begin four weeks after purchase. Your interior wishes will be incorporated into the drawings under the guidance of Remy Meijers. Barry Broekhuijse & Remy Meijers provide the aesthetic supervision, while Villa Builder Van der Windt manages the complete realization. Construction starts six months after purchase.
Sustainability & Comfort
Maximum sustainability: insulation values above the standard (see BENG report), 28 solar panels, a ground-source heat pump, and a heat recovery ventilation system (WTW).

If you wish to be closely involved, this will require a number of hours of your time weekly as the process progresses. Alternatively, the architects and project leaders can tightly manage the execution and present only the most important decisions to you.
No, absolutely not. Although the structural framework is fixed due to the granted permits, Remy Meijers & Barry Broekhuijse will engage in discussion with you directly to tailor the interior and the layout like a bespoke suit to your wishes.
